Privacy Policy pursuant to Section IV of European Directive 95/46/EC

Please be advised that the European Directive 95/46/EC of 24 October 1995 (“Directive on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on free movement of such data”), which you can find at the link European Directive 95/46/EC, protects individuals and other subjects with regard to the processing of their personal data.

This directive requires that such data be processed in accordance with the principles of correctness, lawfulness and transparency, while protecting your privacy and your rights.

This information is provided only for the sites www.keepsporting.com and events.keepsoporting.com ("Keepsporting" or the "Site"), and not also for other sites web eventually consulted by the user through links.

The Privacy Policy is based on Directive 95/46/EC which identifies minimum requirements for the online collection of personal data, and, in particular, the procedures, timeframes and nature of the information that data controllers must supply to users who connect to web pages, regardless of their reason for connecting.

The processing of data will also apply to personal data that is deemed "sensitive", i.e. data revealing racial and ethnic origin, religious, philosophical or other belief, membership of parties, trade unions, associations and organisations of a religious, philosophical or political nature, and personal data disclosing information about health and sex life, if provided by you in the course of your Keepsporting activity.

As required by Section IV of Directive 95/46/EC, we therefore provide the following information:

  1. Data you provide, including sensitive data, will be processed for a number of purposes including, but not limited to: the development, improvement and supply of products and services (including location services); analysis of the effectiveness of advertisements viewed by you; making suggestions to you and other users; guaranteeing Keepsporting's rights; performing internal testing and data analysis; statistical surveys; commercial information; marketing and market research; third-party advertising services; and monitoring service quality and user satisfaction.

  2. Your data, including sensitive data, will be processed by computer.

  3. Data supplied directly by you will come from:

    Profile: the data, some of it sensitive, that portrays you to other Keepsporting users and which you are required to enter in the appropriate sections. The supply of such data, including sensitive data is sometimes optional, in which case refusal to provide such data shall have no repercussion, while in other cases the provision of such data is mandatory. Your profile cannot be activated if you omit mandatory data. All data entered by Business and Structure users will be made public. Non-mandatory data not intended for publication, e.g. a manager's name, should not be entered. Certain data entered by Sportspersons and Sports Organisations will be made public, but they may choose whether to make other data public, private or restrict visibility to a group of friends. The name of a person heading a sports organisation is public data and should not be entered if it is not to be made public.

    Operation: Keepsporting allows users to upload photos, describe your sports and performances, write posts and comments, sign up for competitions and work experience, join sports clubs, form teams, and more. You may choose to make some of this information public, private or restrict visibility to a group of friends. The information, posts, and everything you will make public can be shared on other social networks, and visible even outside of the site Keepsporting.com .

  4. Some of your data will be collected indirectly, through analysis of your Keepsporting activity, including but not limited to: your friendships, your site navigation, your competitions and your memberships, etc. Various technologies will be used for this purpose, including, but not limited to, cookies, pixels and the tracking of your IP address. Cookies are data files that are loaded onto your computer the first time you visit the Keepsporting website. They are re-submitted to the Keepsporting every time you access the site, allowing us to identify you and track your behaviour. Pixels are small segments of code on Web pages that, among other things, allow another server to monitor viewing of those pages. They are often used in conjunction with cookies.   5. If you are under 18 years of age, ask your parents and legal guardians to read this information, and discuss your account settings with them.   8. Third party sellers, including Google, use cookies to post ads based on your previous visit to the website. Keepsproting may disclose your data, including sensitive data, whether public or otherwise, to third parties involved in the advertisements and in developing the abovementioned products or service. In which case, the data will be provided in aggregate and anonymous form. In addition, your data may be accessed by third parties via the internet depending on whether you decide to make your posts, photos, comments, sports preferences and general profile information public.

The information you provided for registration to "Sports events" will be made available to the organizers of the events themselves, who will use them for the organization of those events or other sporting events organized by them. The organizers will be solely responsible for the processing of data supplied to them.

  11. Sporthub Ltd, Office 311 Winston House, 2 Dollis Park – London – N3 1HF, UK is the Data Controller and Data Processor. This information may not be up-to-date.

  12. You may exercise your rights as regards the Data Controller at any time as established by Sections V and VII of directive 96/45/EC.

    Requests should be addressed to the Data Controller at privacy@keepsporting.com. The User nevertheless acknowledges that withdrawing consent to the Processing of Personal Data will result in Keepsporting immediately deleting the User's profile from the Site. However, in such cases it will not be possible to delete data entered by the User (including, but not limited to, text, photos and videos). ...) on the profiles of other Users of the Site.

  13. Keepsporting reserves the right to make changes, including marginal changes, to this privacy policy at any time, in any manner and in any place. We therefore encourage you to visit this web page periodically to check whether there are any changes to the Agreement. Continued use of the Site after any changes to this Agreement will constitute the User's acceptance of such changes.

    The User, having received the information provided by the Data Controller under Section IV of the European directive 95/46/EC regarding the Processing of Personal Data, and having acknowledged, in particular, that processing also relates to "sensitive" data pursuant to Article 8, i.e. data "capable of revealing racial or ethnic origin, religious, philosophical or other beliefs, political opinions, membership of parties, trade unions, and associations or organisations of a religious, philosophical or political natur, and personal data disclosing information on health and sex life", the User, in joining the Keepsporting social network:

    • consents to the processing of sensitive, personal data for the purposes indicated in the aforementioned Privacy Policy
    • consents to the disclosure of sensitive, personal data for the purposes and to the subjects indicated in the Privacy Policy
    • consents to the disclosure of sensitive, personal data for the purposes and in the manner indicated in the Privacy Policy
