Underwater rugby

A game played in a pool 3.5 to 5 meters deep by teams of twelve players (six in the water and six substitutes) who attempt to score in the opposition goal. It is a three dimensional game in which all the space between the water surface and the pool bottom comes into play. Players wear fins, masks, snorkels, and caps with ear protectors. It is a physical contact sport demanding high levels of skill in swimming and breath control.
