How to create a sports event on Keepsporting

Dear organizer, thank you for your interest in our platform. Below we explain how to quickly create your sporting event on Keepsporting, so you can promote your business for free through our network of sportspeople, athletes, event organizers and sports professionals.

First of all, log in to Keepsporting and enter your organization's profile. If you don't yet have an organizer profile on Keepsporting, we recommend that you read the instructions to create it in just a few steps.

Once logged in as an organizer, click on your name at the top right and a drop-down menu will appear, soe you can click on "Manage events":

By clicking on "Manage events" you will be directed to our EMP (Event Management Platform), the management system with all the most advanced features for managing a sports event. Organizers publish their events on Keepsporting for various purposes depending on their profiles: to publicize the event, to collect registrations, to activate the photo sales service, to publish the rankings, etc...

The first thing to do, once you have entered the EMP, is to click on the "+ Create" button which takes you to the page for entering the main data of the event: name of the event, type of event (competition, training, course, etc...), date, main language, sport, location, country.

Fill in all the data and click on the "CREATE" button:

At this point you will be directed to the event dashboard, which will be your control panel for monitoring the various data of the event.

Now you have to create all the sub-events relating to your event, in fact each event can be made up of multiple sub-events, for example a running event could be made up of the "5 km run" sub-event and the "10 km run" sub-event. Therefore, each event must be composed of at least one sub-event; to proceed, click on "+ Create sub-event". By clicking on "+ Create sub-event" you will be directed to the form for entering the main data relating to the sub-event.

Once the sub-event has been created, go to the left menu: in "Prices" you can enter the price of the event (if registrations are free, enter the value zero).

At this point, still on the left menu, go to "Registrations" and click on the "GENERATE CONTRACT" button at the top right; once you have accepted the contract you will be able to proceed with publishing the event on the platform.

To publish, go to "Dashboard" (always on the left menu) and click on the "Publish" button at the top right.

These are the main steps to publish your event on Keepsporting, obviously our EMP provides many other tools that can be useful for configuring and managing your business, but these will be the subject of further insights through our tutorials.
