Brazil: a paradise for running and trekking
Hello, today we are going to introduce you to one of the countless sites to discover in Brazil for trail and trekking/hiking activities.
The Cachoeira do Chapadão (Chapadão waterfall) is located in the district of Santo Hilário near the city of Pimenta-MG, 262 km from Belo Horizonte, the capital of Minas Gerais. It is the largest waterfall found in the region with its 70-meter free fall, with a pond moderately suitable for bathing and a maximum depth of 2 and a half meters.
The location allows for trekking/hiking activities (nature walks) and also trail running (mountain running). The landscapes are breathtaking, as you cross beautiful dirt roads and splendid trails overlooking Lake Furnas.
