CONFIGURING THE EVENT PAGE

Welcome to another tutorial from the Keepsporting platform. The purpose of this guide is to show you how to configure your event's main page.


WHY CONFIGURE IN THE SMALLEST DETAILS?

The athlete wants to get the maximum amount of information possible about your event. Therefore, it's important that you provide the most details you can and use all available resources, such as links, images, videos, and more.


OBJECTIVE

To configure your event's main page. Remember that it should be configured in the smallest details to be very attractive to the public.


UPLOADING THE EVENT COVER IMAGE

In your event's main menu, click the "Galeria" (Gallery) button on the left-hand side.


CONFIGURING YOUR EVENT PAGE

Understanding how the first part of your event page configuration works.

  • Competition name: Enter the name of the competition (avoid special characters).
  • Competition date: Enter the date the competition will take place.
  • Sports: Select which sport corresponds to your event.
  • City: Enter the city where the event will be held.
  • Languages: If your event is in Portuguese, select Portuguese; otherwise, select another language.

GETTING TO KNOW THE TOOLBAR TO DESCRIBE YOUR EVENT INFORMATION

See the buttons and their functionalities below:

  • B: bold text
  • I: italic text
  • U: underlined text
  • Eraser: removes font style
  • Font Size: sets the font (text) size
  • A: defines the font (text) background color and font (text) color.
  • Ordered list.
  • Paragraph: you define a paragraph or text alignment.
  • Line Height: defines the spacing between text lines.
  • Link: adds an external link anywhere on the page.
  • Insert: adds an image to your event page wherever you want.

TIPS:

  • To make your event page very attractive, use as many resources as possible.
  • Use larger, bolded fonts for titles and smaller fonts for texts.
  • You can also use different colors for parts of the text to differentiate topics.
  • You can insert links to open a new window for any related content.
  • Insert images or videos directly onto the page.
