With the goal of making your journey within Keepsporting increasingly clear, secure, and successful, we are sharing our registration refund policy below. This policy is aligned with consumer protection laws and the best practices of the sports events market.

We work closely with organizers to provide transparency, support, and well-defined processes, so you can focus on what truly matters: the athlete's experience and the success of your event.

Registration Refund Policy – Keepsporting

Keepsporting respects the right of withdrawal: athletes may request a cancellation and refund within 7 calendar days of purchase, provided the request is made at least 48 hours before the event starts (in cases where the purchase was made less than 7 days before the event).

🧾 How it works in practice:

If the request is within the legal timeframe, Keepsporting refunds the athlete and notifies the event organizer via email (CC); the athlete is then registered as "withdrawn" from the event, and the corresponding amount is deducted from the extra services.
While Keepsporting’s standard policy follows this procedure, the organizer has the authority to define more specific or restrictive rules, provided they do not infringe upon fundamental consumer rights.

💳 Refunds after 7 days?

Outside of the legal 7-day timeframe or after the event has taken place, the platform does not offer refunds. Keepsporting recommends that the athlete contacts the organizer directly should they wish to negotiate a return or evaluate alternatives (such as transferring the registration to another participant or event).

The platform fee is non-refundable, as it covers services already rendered at the time of purchase, such as payment processing, financial costs, technology, and security; these costs are not recovered even after the refund is issued.

Our goal is for athletes and organizers to always maintain a transparent, fair, and well-aligned relationship, from the moment of registration through to the post-event phase. Refund rules exist to protect consumer rights, but also to ensure that the organizer can plan their event with security, quality, and responsibility.

Whenever a doubt arises regarding deadlines, cancellations, or possibilities after the legal period has expired, we recommend direct dialogue between the athlete and the organizer; often, simple solutions such as a registration transfer resolve the situation for both parties.🤝
